The National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants was created in 1983 through the support of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) to serve as a connection between the accountancy students and their professionals. Being the only national organization of accountancy students, it is tasked with organizing its members into a relevant sector of the business community. The Federation is dedicated in training advocates of development and innovations through knowledge by promoting fellowship among other schools. In Cagayan Valley, the creation of its regional arm continues their advocacy.

Local Chapter Presidents, outgoing regional officers, and incoming regional officers attended the event together with Mr. Dennis Dupitas, CPA, an accounting instructor and the Dean of the College of Accountancy and new regional adviser, Ms. Clarence Gamboa, CPA, MBM where she also talked about her experiences as a student, leader, instructor, accountant and now, the youngest college dean of the University of La Salette. The outgoing President, Anita Maura Gannaban of the University of Saint Louis Tuguegarao also mentioned the collaborative efforts of the whole NFJPIA R02. She thanked and congratulated the new officers where she gave her trust and foresee the success of their organization. On the other hand, Reyes accepted the key of responsibility as she reminded that the success of NFJPIA R02 will not only be her honor but the entire Cagayan Valley.
