ULS-JPIAns Partake ARLC 2017

The University of La Salette-College of Accountancy students participated in the Annual Regional Leadership Congress 2017 (ARLC) held last August 20-21, 2017 at Mt. Atio-an Prayer Tower, Ramon, Isabela.

The ARLC is a yearly event of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants- Region 2 (NFJPIA-02) that caters leaders, potential leaders as well as members to enhance their leadership prowess and decision-making abilities. The event was sponsored by the SGV and Premier, driven by its theme ‘JPIA goes G.L.O.B.A.L (Growing Leaders Outside Borders building Anew stronger Linkages). It was attended by bona fide JPIA members from different schools throughout Cagayan Valley.

The said event was comprised of activities namely: Acquaintance Night, Group Discussions and Team Building activities. During the Mr. and Ms. JPIA Executive Council, Kimberly Marquez bagged Best in Talent and Best in Continental Attire. While in the Couture Making Presentation, Jade Kristel Cabañero and her group placed 2nd runner-up.

In an interview with Trisha Valdez, JPIA President-Local Chapter, she stated “In parallel with our organization’s goals and objectives, joining these activities will uphold our moral value and socio-civic consciousness, establish camaraderie among accounting students both inside and outside of the school, uplift awareness and responsiveness of accounting students as far as school, local, national and international issues are concerned, and benchmark our school outside to develop our competitiveness.”
